Rosé wines acquire their peculiar tone depending on the grape used to make the must, the time the skin is in contact with the juice and the temperature of the wine during maceration. The longer they are in contact, the more intense and darker the colour of the resulting wine will be. Regarding the tone of rosé wines, they vary from an onion skin tone to raspberry pink tones.
