Gran Reserva wines undergo a minimum maturation process of 5 years, of which 24 months must be spent in oak barrels in the case of red wines. For rosé and white wines, Gran Reserva wines are considered to be those that have spent 4 years in this maturation phase, with a minimum of 6 months in cask. At CVNE we make wines in this category in both Rioja and Cava. These wines are of great quality, and show a high complexity of flavours and nuances to the taste.
